Today, one of our beloved style blogger’s Kyrzayda Rodriguez took her last breath and gained her couture wings. It’s an emotional moment for us all who followed her and her blog. I give her all the credit for me chopping off my hair and rocking a fierce short cut.
Watching Kyrzayda battle cancer at such a young age put so much into perspective for me. In her short 40 years, she lived so much life and I tend to keep procrastinating as if time will always be on my side. Her death fueled something inside me today. That fear and anxiety subsided as I read post about how she inspired so many people.
We all know that besides taxes, death is guaranteed but it’s the legacy we leave behind that’s forever. Kyrzayda you didn’t lose you life to cancer, you won stylishly and God needed your fashion advice more than we did.
Kyrzayda, thank you for being an inspiration and fashionista to us all! Though many of us didn’t know you personally, we will miss you, your cut and your style. Rest well my friend.
